    Opinions please:

Option 1. Leave SOILD diff cover the color it is.

Option 2. Paint the SOLID Diff cover black.

Option 3. Paint it some wild color like flourescent purple (this is a joke)

I would leave it black unless you were planning on adding a color scheme to your vehicle (like red accents, then paint it red)

OK, I think I'll leave it. Hopefully I can get it put on tomorrow.

Ordered the front strut mounts, isolators, and bump stops for the front suspension. I got the part #'s from the thread on parts needed for OME suspension. Hopefully I can put the entire strut together and just slap it in the front and I hope that it'll be easy peesy japanesy.

    Updates:

    Garage.

Ran half of the wiring for the overhead lights. I'll have to move the wifes car to get the other side. Not a lot of progress on this today.

    Box for light switches

    Jeep.

I painted and installed the SOLID diff cover today. I painted it black since the factory color of it was somewhat grey. This bad boy holds over 4 quarts of fluid!!!

    Pre Paint

    Post Paint and post install

    And I gotta represent

I dont know and thats why Im asking, but is it good to put that much fluid in there. If the fill holes were at the exact same spot but with a deeper cover i wouldnt see it being a problem. But since the fill hole is so high that brings the entire level of the fluid higher.

I responded on another forum about the location of this fill hole... As stated, too much or too little fluid can compromise diff operation.
