    Some Maintenance This weekend...Coolant?

Hey All, im going to change the serpentine belt (94k on OEM) and add some coolant this weekend... what coolant goes in our WK/XKs 4.7?

Mine seems to be an orange color (that normal?), and is at the "add" line. If anyone knows the brand that would be awesome.

Mine is also orange and i'm kinda low myself. I've been thinking about draining it and putting something new in there (approved coolant) of course.

These vehicles require specific HOAT antifreeze. There are only 2 options I would recommend:
    1) Dealer - a bit pricey.... iirc I spend $30 for a gallon (concentrated so it was really 2 gallons 50/50 = $15/gallon)
    2) Zerex G-05 - hard to find in stores near me but its usually around $22 per gallon for the concentrated version from Amazon.

    Thanks for the info Matt!

I think weather permitting I may try to tackle a transfer case fluid swap too. Video looks pretty straight forward, just need to get a few tools and the fluid. We'll see.

HOAT for sure like Matt said. Just take one for the team and get it from the dealer.

Just ordered some Zerex G-05. Can anyone show me where the coolant drain plug is?

My drain plug on the bottom of the radiator was clogged. I opened it and nothing came out. You have to be careful not to strip that plug cause its made out of plastic. If it doesnt drain there just pop off the lower radiator hose and replace your t-stat while your at it!

I want to replace the coolant in my 3.7. This write-up concerns me. I'm not sure if I have ever had to deal with keeping air out of the coolant system. Any thoughts or insight before I tear into this. I recall changing coolant in other cars being very easy.....

I changed the fluid in both diffs and the transfer case last summer. Anyone have any ideas on what I can do to service the transmission?
