    Try looking at some of these vids, there are 3 that cover changing Tranny Fluid and filters. They are for the 4.7 but I think you can get a good idea of what kind of work is involved with tranny maintenance.

    Changing the coolant isn't any more difficult on these vehicles than it is for others. Its just a matter of locating the bleed port and make sure its open while you're refilling so the air gets pushed out. I like running the vehicle with a coolant funnel on as well to help get any remaining air out of the system.
