High powered reverse lights in rear bumper

Sals build thread got me starting to look at LED reverse lights that can be mounted in the rear bumper. So now I'm in the process of researching the options out there.

    Any suggestions welcome.

Some that I have found thus far:

^^May look good with the Limited trim on the rear..

But I don't like how those will stick out far from the bumper. I like the flush mount look of Sal and AJ's because it looks OEM rather than a quick bolt-on job.

Not sure If I've seen clear ones around but the tail light ones I see all over the place even at lowes they have them. I think on your white bumper the clear LED's will look sweet and if you can get a metal grommet not the rubber one like I have you can paint it blue.

The ones i've found with the bezels all stick out 1/2" or so. Black grommet wouldn't be bad. worst case i can try painting it.

Sal, I don't understand what you are measuring or showing us here.

Lekmed, and i and some others have put in rear tail lights. I use the left one on the
indicator side to light up when I have my fogs on. Kinda Euro style. Problem is when
I have the fogs on, people tell me one of the lights on the bumper is out. Well, that
light is not out, it isn't on. That confuses people. Both lights are on when the parking
    lights come on.

I like the high power rear lights, I have wanted to add some but could not figure out
how to mount them without tearing them up when I drag the back end.

All I will have to do is replace the lights and then switch it.

I don't even think they stick out 1/4" maybe 1/8" at the most. because that rubber bezzel or whatever, if installed correctly, (you know... taking your time and carefully etching away plastic as I did, Sal).... It will actually be pretty flush with the bumper. And the led case itself, when installed in the rubber ring, will be flush with it. It don't stick out that much, haha.

I think im leaning towards the PT series lights that are in my first post. I just think the clear lens will look really clean on there...

But looking at the dimensions of the grommet, it looks like they'll stick out almost 1/2..
