XK OME HD Rear Springs Whcih Load Leveller

Have tried to research this in the forum but have to admit am confused. I have OME HD's on the back with OME shocks. I think I need the longer load levellers however what happens under compression rather than droop? Will the shock take all the load (because of its length) or will the bump stop still be the thing that stops the axle moving upwards.

The bump stops still take the load. That's the setup im running.
