Broke another CV. Passenger side. Got a little too rambunctious going up a sand dune near the house.

$2k for those rcv's aren't sounding so bad after watching you bust all these. ..
I'm still getting the SL first! But if I start busting CVs.....
Once i put a locker in the rear change out my front with a QDII im getting a set!

Locker in the rear is 85%.... can almost do without the locker in the front which is 15% traction and 95% CV axle buster.

I agree, the cost is high. But then again if I snapped my CV on just 5 consecutive trips, by the 5th time I'd be fed up enough doing trail side repairs AND wouldn't want to worry about breaking one every time I wheel..... there's some value there that goes way beyond the $65 CV joint cost.
..... I'm looking forward to seeing how Dave's diff /driveshaft etc handle his new beefed up axles. We have some hardcore guys here, its great!
Mine was picked up today to get a complete detail. In & out Eng bay & undercarriage. The works including claybar & buff & polish. Once that is done I can put the roofrack back on to get ready for my wheelin trip @ tsf @ the end of the month.
