I too have to be honest, the BFG AT is a terrible tire in almost every situation. People have been loving it forever but I just don't get it. I have had a set on a YJ, Cherokee, and on my Ram truck. I have hated them all three times. My Toyo MT's are better for every situation except street driving. I found the BFG's bad in sand, mud, wet roads, snow, ice, grass. Surprisingly, the BFG MT's perform better in all those situations and are pretty decent on the road. I haven't had the New MTR's but I currently have Duratrac's on my JK and love them. I think you will like the MTR, I keep hearing lots of good things from everyone.

Very nice! I had to roll back through things and look at all the mods youve done. Ive been pretty much neglecting to do mods on my xk for about 8 or 9 months now while working on my subaru. Im hoping to get back to it soon.

Love to hear what you think of the MTRs in the snow. they got such ****ty review on the TJ forums, but we have such an advantage.

I have been running MT/R's with Kevlar since the day they came out and the are amazing in the snow on my XK! This is my 3rd set. I think TJ's just suck in the snow period. Their wheel base is to short and they don't have the weight of an XK
