Another one is born that is correct!!! I loved these things before now Im addicted!!! I never realized how massive this thing is next to a ZJ and big it feels on the road, Ill be in one of these for many years to come.. She going in today for all fluids, plugs and some bushings we knew needed replacing, one being the front diff bushing. Flowmasters sound amazing Ill get a clip to put up soon..

Yeah I didn't have my 96 very long either. But It had two annoying things that needed fixing. The center display that shows whave 4x4 it's in, and what doors are on etc.. that thing fried. The memory seats seemed couldn't seem to the settings I put them on. The rear window wiper blade worked only ONCE a week. All small and minor things, but the engine, the power... the torque - the thing was a beast and it was a BEAUTIFUL Jeep. I always tease myself about buying another one. Probably won't happen, I'll be looking for another gas guzzler Jeep next year to snuggle up with the WK

Yea always small things, I replaced the center display, had a few lying around... They are nice Jeeps, but NOTHING is like this XK!!! Really happy and impressed with it so far

Had to snap this picture yesterday.. Its a generation of Jeeps, only one missing is my moms 96 ZJ 5.2 with 260k on it which looks as nice as the rest of them. Black ZJ is sister 98 5.9, then my XK and Dads red WK HEMI from work..

Today I put the front tow hooks on the XK, got a great deal on them. The best thing about these is that there are already holes drilled, very quick and easy install. Here are a few picks..

Just realized never posted pics of the k&n install. After the install I realized I needed some protection from water after removing the lower airbox so here are a few of what I came up with..

What I ended up doing is modding the lower airbox to fit with intake and provide protection from water. There is more details under the intake section..
Next up is front and belly skid to prepare for Whispering Pines with 07JeepXK and few local rigs, then once money allows it, sliders will be next.
