    ATLAS Transfercases

    http://www.advanceadapters.com/tech-...2-speed-units/

Does anyone have any experience with these xcases.... I would be VERY interested in digging further, but I dunno all the mechanisms behind this stuff. I've been told they are compatible with WK/XK platforms, so I'm very interested in looking into this.

I hope that is XK/WK compatible. It will be a true manufactured aftermarket transfer case.

I was talking to a pretty good friend who rigorously modifies his XJ, and he said it is. all the spline information and crawl ratio stuff is there once you click the transfer case link... it's just a matter of knowing what the WK/XK specs are. That's the area i'm not to familiar on.

Oh, I know... but thats a NP245 xcase, which is awesome performing that mod. But I was also interested in seeking out some aftermarket alternatives.

I just assumed that it used similar wiring as to what he has been doing. I am so excited that more and more company's are jumping on the XK/WK bandwagon!

Its true! All the more reason I was looking into this. Im also told that if we want to do gears we can swap in an IFS Dana 44 or 50 out of a F150 to gear over 3.73...

Until we recently sold it we ran a 3.8 Atlas in our buggy. Bomb proof! Although for the price it had better be.

I believe I'm the only forum member who has grenaded a T-Case on the XK while off roading. Are there others that are having issues with their NV245? I was always told dont fix whats not broke. Once it breaks, then upgrade!
