    Marvel Mystery Oil

Has any one tried Marvel Mystery oil in the gas tank of their Commander? I used it in my Cherokee and can tell the difference in acceleration. I use 8oz per 20 gallons. I'm headed out on an epic journey (approx 4,000 mi) next week and have been thinking about trying it on the trip.

I'm not a fan of messing with the fuel like that.

I would recommend it for sure, I found about it in North Carolina when I was stationed there, old farmers put it in their tractors. I put it in my Dodge Stratus and I had 265,000 miles on it when I finally traded it in. My Jeep Commander has 157,000 miles on it and thing runs like a champ and I have put it through some severe beating. I have put it both in gas tank and in my oil, Great, Awesome product

The stuff has been around almost since the dawn the automotive era. I'd kind of forgotten about it. I might have to try it now.

UPdate: I just returned from a 3,700 mile epic journey through New Mexico, Arizona, Utah and back to Missouri. I ran one quart of Marvel Mystery oil in my gas using the appropriate amount at each fill-up. In one tankfull I got 22mpg (did the math) Aside from that tankful I averaged 19.5-20.0 Click image for larger version.

I attemped to add a photo of me in my Commander at Monument Valley but the uploader does not work for[ATTACH=CONFIG]1346[ me. Now the attachment appeared. I wll not know if it worked until I hit send.
