im trying to upload directly to the forum. under additional options, i hit "manage attachments" a new window pops up. i hit "add files" a smaller box opens, i hit "select files" i browse to the pic i want, select it, hit "upload files" and it starts to upload. the progress bar moves all the way to the right, (takes about 5-7 seconds) but then nothing. i get the swirling circle in the upper right corner as if its working on it still, but nothing becomes of it. it just hangs at the point and never moves to the next point

It could be the file size there are limits to the size and file you can attach. I would use a host site like photo bucket or Google picasa then just copy the URL in and your done. Here is a thread to doing it if you need it. http://www.theultimatejeep.com/showt...post-a-Picture Photo bucket is slightly easier because you can copy and paste the code right in this window with picasa you have a few extra steps to take.

Photobucket is definitely the way to go IMO. you can copy and paste the links with built in img tags.

do you happen to know the file size limit? the pics i tried ranged from 2-2.9MB which i would never guess to be too big...

The truth I don't know but would guess between 500kb-1MB buy that's just a guess.
