Stupid question, but aren't the ring and pinion in the ELSD's QD II axles different then the QT II axles? Or are they the same part number. If they are different and I was able to get someone to make some it would help you out any.
Im not breaking the CV's under high spin, its under takeoff,usually in tight spots. The CRD has plenty od torque down low, even with the lack of gears now.

The only difference is the centre of the Diff, the R & P are the same between QT and QD. And the axles are different lengths due to the centres being larger.

Any assistance towards aftermarket gears at a decent price would be awesome!
