    The only time Ive gone from syn to a blend was because my rear main seal was leaking in my maxima and didnt feel like replacing it, so the thought was going to a slightly thicker oil would slow the leak, in theory. Ive always ran syn and dont plan on going to anything else with the HEMI

    On a younger (well maintained ) engine there's not really an issue going from full synthetic back to regular.

    The issue is on older engines that have always run synthetic. The additives in the synthetic oils help keep seals intact and prevent degradation. So on an older engine if you change back to economy grade dino oil that does not have these additives, you're likely to generate leaks at a quicker pace. There are however some non-synthetic oils that are meant for high mileage vehicles that contain the additives as well.

    If in doubt, an oil analysis is a great way to determine the "health" of your engine.

    Makes sense to me lol

    Id definitely say our engines are new ;p....mine only has 21k. I dont see a reason to not use full synth. The prices are not too much more then semi

    Yeah I'm definitely a synthetic fan. Nothing but Amsoil OE for my vehicles.
