It looks like from the top horizontal surface to my cut its approximately 1.6 to 1.7 inches. Here is a photo so you know how I came up with this #.

If someone makes a template I would love to include it with future orders as an option.

I'm always a day late and many dollars short !! I ended up tossing both of my old ones or I would have sent them out to you ... Thinking perhaps a junk yard would be a good way to go to get one to make a template from, if others that have the SA Sliders have already tossed theres also.

Yes.. Great.. we had three !! ( we leave the vacuum out )..I had noted your's earlier also ...great jogging buddies and they are indoor dogs and just like a member of the family...They have us trained well !!

3 is definitely a handfull. LOL yes my fiance and I are trained well too. When we first got him we said to each other "He is NOT sleeping in the bed".......we wake up to a hot breathing 75 ib fur bag every morning!

But yes they are amazing dogs. I have had all different breeds my entire life growing up and I would never get anything else again
