Ok i started making some spacers.... method seems to work alright. Just one issue that I wanted to run by you guys.
I made an idiot mistake and ordered a 5" hole saw to make my 5" diameter spacer. WELL, a 5" hole saw makes a 5" hole, and the piece that gets cut out of that hole isn't quite 5".... closer to 4.75".
Functionally this really isn't a big issue (i'll run the ones I already made on my rig regardless) because they cover the full spring area. But wanted to know what you guys thought. If this isn't Kosher, i'll have to get another $40 saw.
Id honestly say if you think it will work then Im fine with it, doesnt look far off from the isolator..

The engineer in me knows it will work (thats while Ill use the spacers I already made on my vehicle so its not wasted material). The OCD perfectionist in me already has a 5.25" hole-saw in my mcmaster shopping cart. I kind of know what needs to be done and am basically thinking (typing) out loud (if that makes any sense)
I would love a set if it isn't to late

(Jon/Sal/adam.... not sure if this thread should stay here or be moved to the for-sale section?)
After the lift and tires my dog hesitates jumping in the back....now we'll see after these spacers/shocks Saturday lol
Are the spacers going to be the same top and bottom? I was thinking of going with a 1.5" spacer personally, but may be interested in this.
Whats the reason to go with spacers on both top and bottom rather then one spacer on one end?
The spacers will probably be the same exact design for top/bottom. I'll verify dimensions when I have Corey's apart this Saturday. Reason for going 1/2 top and 1/2 bottom is to ensure the spring is always captured and to facilitate installation. If I did 1" top, it would be a PITA to get the driver side spring back in. If I did 1" bottom, it would reduce the amount of remaining material that centers the spring/isolater.
Are the problems you are talking about issues with the current budget boost market?
