    Thats kind of ironic.... me and a guy at work were talking about that this week. It'd make a good day trip and he likes to road bike; some of those tunnels would be awesome to bike through.

    That's weird, I didn't know it existed. Which side of Breezewood is it on? When I head to D.C. to see family I get off and on the turnpike at Breezewood.

    That is in my old stomping ground. I lived in Bedford which is 18 miles form Breezewood. My dad worked the Pa. Turnpike when he was in the State Police and had to patrol it often for drag racing back in the day. Never been there myself. Interesting to see the info on it now.

    Its illegal to take motor vehicles on the abandoned pike. ..... hiking/biking only.

    Sooooo would you rather walk 13 miles or pedal a bike?

    Id much rather walk/ hike it. You dont get the same out of biking it, you may miss something.
