    Double Stack?

So i was reading on one of the other forums and they was saying something about its easier to double stack lifts on a 2wd? If thats true how difficult would it be to put OME springs on with my current spacer lift? would it work without too much trouble? or would it be cheaper and easier to go with SL? not going to do it any time soon just wondering.

It's not true. A lot of people only focus on the CV axle angles and incorrectly assume that since 2WD don't have CV axles that there's no issue with stacking lifts.

The truth is CV axles are cheap, so who cares if you bust those? Whats not cheap is the steering rack which will get beat up operating the tie rods at steep angles. It's also not cheap to keep getting alignments when you have to replace balljoints and tie rods consistently. Not to mention the lack of suspension down travel will result in a crappy ride and even less offroad flex than we currently have.

In other words... don't stack lifts.

If you were to double stack lifts a year down the road your going to be putting in twice the amount of money to replace worn out parts then the price of the superlift. It's really not worth it in the end. Especially when I steering rack is extremely expensive. I just spent a grand on my Jeep between the steering rack, steering pump and alignment and I did all the labor myself minus they alignment. But the dealer even did the for me for cheap since I'm always there buying parts. Lol
