It works... Not perfect.. small blind spots... but A LOT better for me than not having it moved at all.
I also have had to temporally disable my back-up assist sensors since one of them "Sees" my spare tire. ( still trying to figure out a good solution for that).
So w/o the sensors I was very happy when I moved the camera even it does not give 100% coverage.

Did you see my previous setup? It wasn't a relocation but it was very functional with the camera mounted to the third upper brake light. That position was great for see everything behind you and not being off center.
I remember checking that out. I'm looking into relocations for when I put my rear tire carrier on. I don't want to render the display on the dash useless.
