It's still a Chrysler product (New addition to my stable)

My mom passed away from cancer about a month ago.

I ended up with her Ford Expedition. I'm not a big Ford man, and the form factor is pretty much a less-plush version of the Commander.

My XK is now more of an Expedition vehicle, lifted, 33" tires with knobbies so bad the thing vibrates on slow turns on pavement.

    So...

I went car shopping. At my size, I have to "try on" a car.

Long story short, an all-wheel-drive, black leather interior, 300 Limited.

2006, 4.7L, QTII, Toyo Wild Country M/T 265/70R17 tires, Ultrasport 175 wheels, Rocky Road 2.25'' lift kit, HID off-road lighting, Surco 50x60 roof rack, Foxwing awning, Superchips performance programming.

Very nice, you will certainly enjoy the ride on pavement a lot more in that.

Yup. The XK is now a "play" rig for weekends and off-road trips. The 300 has a V6, so the mileage should be a heckuva lot better than the single digit in-town mileage the Commander was getting.

    Thanks all.

I had to get rid of the Expedition. I was starting to drive it since it sat for a long time, but it still felt like I borrowing mom's rig. She also had small murals on it, her being an artist. The form factor was too close to the Commander. It just HAD to go!
