    Thanks all.

I had to get rid of the Expedition. I was starting to drive it since it sat for a long time, but it still felt like I borrowing mom's rig. She also had small murals on it, her being an artist. The form factor was too close to the Commander. It just HAD to go!

After a little road trip up the Yakima Valley last night, I can't say I'm too disappointed about the MPG's. It actually went up to 23.9 by the time I got home.

The XK started out at around 21, but that's been ruined by the roof rack, lift kit, 33" M/T tires, and 1,000 lbs. of survival and recovery gear aboard. Now, it's lucky if it gets 13.6 on the highway. It's okay for a play rig though.

Not too shabby for a car that size! Hell our 01 Accord only gets ~27

I've been thinking about taking off my roof rack for DD'ing.... not sure how much it really affects my daily driving MPG though since I'm not on any highways.

Sorry to hear about your mom.

You need to update your signature! How long have you been running 33's? Are they the same brand as the 265/70's in your sig?

The Toyo's measure about 1/4" short of 33"

I need to weigh the 300. I know the XK is 6,100 lbs. (With all my crap aboard) Lampson Crane has a scale with 4 foot tall LED numbers on a building. If you know where it is, it's a free vehicle weighing.

Hmmm, so your 265's measure 1/4 short of 33"? My 285/70 MT/R's (33x11.5) only measure out to be 32"
