Id personally get a new window from a scrap yard and replace it myself.
What caused the deep scratches? If its something inside the window track it will mostlikely just scratch the new window. I have a lot of scratches in my drivers side window too from off roading and getting mud/dirt down in there.Originally Posted by cabledog25

im not sure they have been there for a good while now, but the main reason im wanting to replace it is because im going to get them tinted and im pretty sure the scratches will mess with the tint
I hit an Owl last christmas so it totaled my windshield. It was 400 to replace with an OEM one & it was with Rainsensing, so it is not that bad to get replaced.
I have the deep scratches as well on my windows from offroading and my limo tint is fine with it.

Tint goes on the inside..... if the scratches are outside you should be alright
yeah if i remember correctly they were on the outside. thanks guys
$400 is doable... I was expecting a lot worse.. we'll see what happens Saturday morning.
I've replaced my windshield twice (!) at about $320 a pop with the rain sensing wipers.

What company did you use? $320 is only 2x the repair cost.
