I did all my prep last night knowing it was going to really crappy out. I disconnected my rear sway bar and loaded up my spare. Also packed my 1/2 inch ratchet, extensions and 18mm socket to disconnect the front sway bar.

Luckily my XK still squeezes into my garage lol.
Tomorrow i'll pack up my toolbox. Normally i bring enough tools to take apart just about anything on a vehicle. Though I dont think we'll need anything this trip, i'd rather have it and not need it
You never know with a beat ass XJ I might need every tool known to man to make it home
Now that I have all my tools out of storage I'm in a much better situation than I was in, but extra tools never hurt anyone.
I'm still rolling with my damaged radiator, so if you have a magical fix better than the RTV that has the hole mostly plugged, I'm all ears
The rtv had it handled until just the other day, then it sprung a small leak, so I hit it with some more rtv. Eventually when it warms up I'll put a new radiator in it, but for now it is what it is, and I have more rtv with me.
