Anyone know what the plug gap should be on the 2010 5.7? I can't seem to find it anywhere. It sounds like the 2006-2008 is .043-.045 but I keep seeing mention that the 2009-2010 is different. There also doesn't seem to be a sticker in the engine compartment that shows this info, not sure why that is since every vehicle I have owned had one. Anyone have a 2009-2010 that wants to take a picture of their sticker and pass along what the plug gap should be I would sure appreciate it!
Well, I have done more searching and reading. Looks like several sources say .043 for the 2009-2010 models.
Changed out the plugs last night. Took a few pictures of the process and I will try to put together a little write up on it. Seems like a lot of people are apprehensive to do this. It takes a while because of the 16 plugs but I still think it was easier than doing plugs and wires on my jk.
My plugs didn't seem very bad at all, I wonder if the previous owner had a service done somewhere in there. I put a couple hours on the highway on it today and didn't notice any difference and the gas mileage still is low. Good thing I didn't buy to be an economy car.
