    Its generally best to long press the esp button. This does not stop the btc (brake traction control) from transferring power but does disable the engine braking and fuel cutoff parameters which would otherwise hinder offroad performance (equivalent to taking your foot off the gas)

    not to worrie im sure ill have plenty to ask, thanks. im still a newb at wheeling i have only been going out this past year but have learned alot about my comanche and how to wheel it but the comander is on a whole other level as far as computer controls and the like. i do like to keep things as simple as possable. i can wrench well enough, weld and fab a bit and i work in a machine shop but my electronic skill set is not very good.
