ATT XK Owners with the 3rd row AC/Heater lines Have a Skid plate to cover it.

Ok here is the deal, I have been testing a plate for my friend that's a welder and has decided to use my XK as a project jeep. He will be making parts for the XK/WK's . This will be a side biz until he has enough work to pay his bills. This is not to go against SA, I have been in talks with Jon to work with SA on this & future parts that is made via my friend.

This is the first part he has come up with. The lines that is behind the front passenger tire have been an issue for many of us when wheeling. So he had come up with a metal plate to protect the lines and the TPMS sensor as well.

So here is some pictures of it & let me know if you have any questions.

Now you can put them back on lol

Also so you guys know that my friend will be working on a plate to replace the plastic cover that runs under the jeep covering those lines as well. I have cracked mine in a few places, so this will ensure that will not be an issue any more.

How much further does this plate stick out than the lines? My tires just kiss the plastic fender liner that's up tight against those lines. Wondering if i'd rub more on that place or if its tight against them.

The plate is bolted in tight against the lines. I will be posting more pic's this weekend to give a better look.
    the 3rd pic in post # 2
that is a rubber seal on top, to prevent any type of rubbing on the lines.
the plate is 1/8th" thick I just confirmed with the maker of it.

I couldn't do that. I'm running 33's on an OME lift. The tires wouldn't clear that plate. Plus I cut out the entire pinch weld area which gained over two more inches of clearance there
