Any idea in the time frame for that additional piece? That's honestly the only appealing part of 4xGuard, I'd like to keep all SA skids from here on..

Is this the v2 (is v2 correct?) bumper with the redesigned thinner winch area? Does this skid go from the bottom of the bumper to the rear of the engine bay? or will a stock skid be used in conjunction?
Yes, The V2 will turn the winch plate to feet forward for a shorter front exposure. The additional skid will then either be part of the bumper or be a small skid that extends from the bottom of the bumper to the radiator support and ties into our front skid plate at that point.

Looking forward to seeing the V2 design. Don't forget to try tying them into the stock fender flares a bit better, like trialbyfires bumper. The V1 design was built to match your S/A front fenders and would look strange on an XK with standard flares (though I know we'll need to cut the flares, but thats all good)
Also can't wait to get my rear bumper so i can get that spare tire out of my trunk
Excellent! Do you anticipate a cost increase? I will be following the development of this bumper very closely.
Price will depend on steel prices at time of construction.

I've been trying to see a pic of the front skid mounted for a few months now, someone has to have one mounted up
