Nitecore TM26 Quadray (Holy **** BRIGHT!!)

I just bought a Nitecore TM26 from this eBay seller: http://www.ebay.com/sch/rocketcitykn...p2047675.l2562

He has one left, and I think it's the best deal out there since it comes with batteries and a charger. Normally, it's about $60 for a set of four 18650 rechargeables.

He sent it Priority 3 day, so I have it in my hot hands right now. This is the ONLY LED light I've ever seen where you can feel heat when it's on!! In our install bay here at work, it makes the 20x20x60 foot space appear to have the lights on. It's unreal the output.

That 3,500 lumens is about the same as my huge HID handheld light with its 10" reflector. Having the same ridiculously powerful output with something the size of a can of pop is mind blowing. It's seriously on the level of the Jeep's light bars. I can't wait until dark now!!

The bright blue OLED display is VERY cool, with battery level, voltage, core temp. runtime left etc. It's just something you never see on a flashlight. I'll post some photos later. Right now, it's showing "Charging... 4.14 V"

It's hard to describe 3,500 lumens in a small handheld light. I'm guessing the brightest light you've seen short of vehicle mounted LED bars is probably 1,000 lumens. This thing is like holding a football stadium light.

    Here's more info from Nitecore's website: http://www.nitecore.com/productDetail.aspx?id=75

    Wink

I had to look it up - I thought you were describing a new set of headlights!

Cree is good stuff - been reading a LOT of great stuff about them on gunboards (weaponlights) for years!

Holy cow! Looks amazing, but $300 for a flashlight is a bit rich for me. I'd rather put that towards some Jeep parts.

    That's crazy. $300 for a flashlight?!?!
