    Water Pump

Well, the water pump is shot on my XK. It is currently being replaced so hopefully all goes well. I thought it was weird that it went, the XK only has 29k miles. I am on the phone with Chrysler now because I am pretty sure this will be covered. Fingers crossed!

So even though my 3 year is up the dealership is going to cover it. So at least for another 6k miles I am covered for any problems that may occur.

Why not let them do the tcase recall? I didn't even mention it to them nor do I think they would do it without knowing if I already had it done somewhere else etc.

People are having major issues... I read theres even a backorder of FDCMs because of it.

They can run your VIN to see if its been done. I dont believe they need your permission to do a safety recall(but may be wrong...)

Water pump is fixed. However, the bastards didn't even bother to clean up the engine with all the nasty smelling fluid. Looks like the XK is getting an engine bath this weekend.
