    Quick 265/70r17 question

I know to properly run these tires with a 2" lift you either need the right backspaced wheels or spacers. I found a used set and have somebody maybe lined up to buy my stocks. Can I just get down the highway okay with 265/70/17 on the stock wheel and a 2" RC lift? Will it clear the bolt without spacers? Strictly highway, until I can pick up either spacers or wheels. I don't care if it rubs at lock since it would just be a weekend of asphalt. They are about half worn set of Duratracs.

You may be alright. ... worst case bring a hacksaw and trim off the hex portion of the stud if it hits.

Yeah. Originally I wasn't in a hurry to get this done. But I have a guy interested in my stock rubbers and he wants them ASAP. Just wondering if I can get by on the asphalt for a week or so until I can get some spacers too.

And I found these 4 Duratracs that I can get for probably $140. He claims they're 50% but hasn't actually measured them.

Id give it a shot.... test fit one first. Either way id pick up those tires for $140 if they're in decent shape

That's what I'm thinking. If they're decent I'll buy 'em. If they go right on for now great, if not they'll go on in a few days to give me time to get a set of spacers.
