I bought this in hopes of making my own rear tire carrier, but I decided to sell the jeep so I'm selling this brand new! I ordered it straight from atozfabrication. I ordered the mega spindle upgrade so it can EASILY withstand even a 20" rim with a 37" tire. All you need is the hub plate and metal to build your tire carrier! I am asking $70 shipped when I originally paid $87+.

I don't understand how it is used. Does it attach the spare wheel?

It's the spindle that actually allows for the carrier to spin outwards.

It's for building a bumper mounted tire carrier, it's the "hinge" for the swing out part.
