    XK half shafts

OK I'm looking at replacing my half shafts. On RockAuto.com the right has 1 option so no brainer there. The left is either w/ or wo/ limited slip differential. My question is how do I know what I have? Is there something I can look for to see if I have limited slip? I'm hedging towards the wo/ option as mine is a base model but I could be wrong. Thanks for any help.

That's easy. To start what engine do you have? Do you have the t-handle by the shifter to engage 4 low? Does it say Quadra Drive II by the shifter? How many bolts is your rear diff cover. If you can answer those questions I can tell you which drivers side cv shaft you need.

You need the drivers side cv shaft for an XK without limited slip. I'm not sure why the parts store lists two different drivers side shafts for your XK as they never made a 3.7 liter with the electronic limited slip differentials.

I should be ok there, as we had each of them out when we were putting the lift in a couple weeks ago.
