    Just put an optima yellow top battery in. Got the same one knapster had(d34/78). Only real fitting I had to do was bend the 90° post configuration straight out which was no problem to do by hand. I did have to lengthen one 18 gauge ground wire with just a piece of wire and double butt splice but nothing drastic.

    Optima and parts stores dont list this as a direct fit due to the posts not being a perfect fit. There is a d35 that could possibly fit the oem post configuration but its about 200 cold crank amps less. Other than that it fits perfect including the factory battery clamp.

    Nice! I was looking into optima for my sound system but heard a lot of mixed reviews so I might go a different route now. Let me know how it works for you!
