    Ran across this for sale.

So I am planning on trading up an 06 Commander Base with a 4.7 and QT-11 to a newer Commander with a Hemi. However I ran across this Commander online and have seriously started considering it.

This is the same Commander on the RR website as well as airflow website.

As my present Commander is stock and I have nothing to transfer over this seems like a very viable option to save some time and money buying a turn key modded Commander. My wife will probably think otherwise as she runs daycare kids around in ours but what could be safer than an extra 4" of clearance and an airflow snorkel if the roads are flooded and school isn't canceled?

So I put it out to you, what would you do? Oh the other dilemma is I'm in a desert until end November and keep finding too much I want!!

I also want to say thanks for putting this forum together. It contains a lot of useful info and isn't cluttered with a thousand threads asking the same questions.

I would think knowing where it came from and being able to contact the original owner would be pluses in my book bro. So if this is what your looking for then go for it man. If your not sure and you'll be back a month from now have your wife swing bye and put some money down to hold it thats what I did with my bike the dealer held it until I got back with a deposit. Oh and that bumper is not being made anymore so another plus.

Snorkel, 4 inch lift and steel front bumper! Id say go for it. Those will be the next few mods on my XK.

It is a great looking Jeep and the Mods are a huge plus but its gonna take a lot of convincing (or flat out bribery) to convince my Wife that this is what we need. On the plus side my Father-in-law raised Her a Dodge Girl and She loves our Commander so I think I got a shot. On the down side our present Commander has 20K less on the odometer, its an 06 and I have a brand new set of winter tires that my Wife just bought. Might have to get my brother to go take a look at it in the meantime and get him to ask a few Q`s (like where the roof rack and spare tire are) and get him to throw down a deposit to hold it. If it falls through I guess I will have to settle for a Hemi, oh well.

It states that it has a 4.7L. You said you wanted a Hemi. The 2007 4.7L packs a lot of punch, but nothing compared to the same year Hemi or 2008 4.7L. You can always do mods w bumpers / lifts / etc, but very hard to have a vehicle you feel should have more power.

As I have the 06 4.7L right now anything newer is going to have a lot more power, because the MPG are pretty close between the 4.7 and 5.7MDS I figured I would try to find a Hemi and get the QD-II plus a larger tow rating. I am also curious about the Hemi speech??
