There is a RailRunner train station parking lot just north of the KOA at Hwy 550 and I-25. It would be a good place to meet.

It's about a 4-1/2 hour drive to Buena Vista so I was thinking of leaving about 9:00 but am flexible.

Getting really close to D-Day......been working all week preping the rig for the torture that lay ahead.....absolutely psyched about the trip!

I spent four hours at Stone Soup Metal Works working on my XK. Rear bumper is finished (check), sliders painted (check), Front bumper back on (check), Tow hitch upgraded (check), CB moved (check).

Tomorrow I hope to check off sliders installed, driver fender back on, tube fenders installed, light bar completed and installed, license plate light wires finished, Computer deck installed, switch bank completed.

Weather has been great here all week. Rained hard today out on rt.160 heading up Blanca. Had some deep water crossings on most of the roads we hit. See you guys on Sunday. Drive safe.

If I only had a quarter for each time over the last 3 years I've heard this. Last year I really dropped the ball and only snapped a few. I'll make it up this year.

My brother is going to come along with me...so it will be a guys trip for me. We may do some climbing, rappelling, or kayaking, etc.....maybe some drinking....probably no fishing this time, he really isn't into that. We will leave Sunday morning early.
