    Cool Hood Louvers

Anyone seen these hood louvers? http://www.raceace.com/products.html

They look like the same ones Rocky Road hAs on their website. They are priced pretty reasonable. Might be a cool mod! (no pun intended)

Not bad looking covers. The close spaced pop-rivets give it an aircraft look too.

On a Dodge truck I had years ago, I put a set of stainless steel ''shark gills'' on the hood. (like the picture below) They're a typical off-the-shelf boating item.

Someday I'll scan the old 35mm photos of the turbocharged 318 it had. That was one of the few well-into-three-digits top speed 4x4 Power Wagons around.

Well don't have any good pics of them and he has since sold the jeep, but you can kinda see them in the hood here. Just cut the opening with a sawall and made a bracket on each side the louvers have fout holes for mounting.

Found a better picture, roof rack laying in the yard, on the left because after the 8" lift was added to replace the 4" we couldn't get it out of the garage..
