    UniStrut

Ok I put my new shocks on which meant the extra lift gained would once again keep me out of the garage. Well I decided to go with 7/8 shallow unistrut its the stuff you hang pipes from buildings and is pretty strong. It comes with all sorts of stuff to mount in the channel so the mounting possibilities are endless.

    Unistrut

Cut and painted to length then mounted up.

    Close up to roof line

And of course the fishing rod holders had to go back on

This mod dropped the top of my basket about 2" maybe a little more. The best thing is you can run wires down the channel and mount stuff to it with off the shelf hardware. I also think unistrut might make a pretty good light bar as well. The total for this mod wan $18.

Thanks you cant get the rack any closer to the roof really then this. The bottom of the basket sits right above my satellite receiver in the back.

I don't use the radio but the Nav unit works just fine no issues I'm just assuming there on the same antenna.

Hmm didn't think of that, I am not sure if they use the same one or not. You answer one question & now there is another one that needs an answer lol
