    First Concert?

    What was your first concert?

Mine (at least that I remember) was Presidents of the United States of America, I won tickets from the local radio station (89X in Detroit) when I was in 8th grade. My mom wouldn't let me go with a friend, so I asked if my Aunts boyfriend would could/would take me.. he did, now he's uncle but we are only about 6 years apart..

I took my 2 year olds to a Sublime concert, it was an outdoor venue at the local fair so it wasn't exactly a huge deal and I'm sure they won't remember, but I had a good time

I have friends in some serious bands and I go to see them play at clubs and stuff.... just never really had the urge to go to a concert.

PS: I just had to listen to Peaches! lol

Wow, difference in personalities for sure. I'm hoping to go see Rage Against the Machine the end of July.. just working out details since it's a real concert and the kids shouldn't go. They are the one band I have felt like I missed out on. I had tickets to see them with the Beastie Boys back in like 2000ish but Mike D from Beasties broke his arm doing something stupid on a bike and they cancelled the tour and then RATM broke up and I never got to see them. So this is one of the few occasions I'm willing to pay a lot of money to see a band. I have to fulfill my highschool/college musical concert dreams

And who doesn't love some peaches or lump?

I think it was late 70's Van Halen, Ramones and Black Sabbath.
