Added some color to the exterior via Hella tinted covers

I wanted to add some color to my black/white XK. I still plan on plasti-dipping the shackles up front in blue... and some day after i lift it i'd really like to run the Mickey Thompson Classic Locks with a blue bead ring:

I got some Hella protective light covers... they come in a variety of colors. I, of course, got some blue ones. Took about 5 minutes to put them on (they stick to the lense like a decal). They're about 1/16" thick tinted polymer... they'll definitely protect the lenses from rock chips.

    BEFORE:

    AFTER:

No effect on lighting.... damn things are bright!!!

Me likey! Your XK is looking great man. Those bead locks would look killer on your rig. Im going to do something similar with my wheels and tie in some body color.

Probably Not. I'm hoping there are more backspace options by the time I actually do the new lift/tires.

Good point. I thought they just meant the beadlock look.

Those rings are cosmetic only. Check local laws also..... in NJ true beadlock wheels are not approved for street use.

Man, I thought I was a light nut.

Your blue and white theme is a lot like my black and white look. Once you get started, you tend to keep the look going. Those blue faux bead locks will look nice. You have a great looking XK.

Yeah, phunkey had them on his.... I'd like for them to have about 1" more backspace 5.5" as opposed to 4.5".

You can see the trimming he did as well: http://s607.photobucket.com/albums/t...perLift%20Kit/
