    L.O.S.T

Well I've spent the last 2 years over at the LOSTJEEPS community and two weeks ago the transmission went out on my KJ along with all it's other developing issues so we traded it in on a 2006 4.7L Commander QT II. I don't know if I'll lift it 2" or 4" depends on future plans with it. So far I am just as impressed with it as I was the KJ.

    Welcome aboard man!

The 2" lift should be standard.... might as well order that up now, its only $150+alignment. Then you'll end up getting the 4" down the road.

Welcome, you'll find this site to be very helpful and informative (with the exception of Sal, just saying). These "grocery getters" are very capable offroad and there are plenty of videos to prove it. Enjoy and post lots of pics. Also, when you start to mod (and you will) your XK, open up a "Garage" thread so everyone can track your progress.

    Welcome to the forums.

Yup, get a 2" lift. Nothing has to be done such as steering arm swaps with a 2" kit. Drive lines etc. start getting worked at 4" and above. The 2" will level it out nice, and you'll end up with several inches of space above the tires even with larger tires installed. Be sure to realign it after the lift is installed.

Hey thanks everyone, I had 2.5" on the KJ with 245/75R16 Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac's and I thought it was a great (mild) setup so I will probably do the same with the XK. I plan modding it as much as the "boss" lets me. I have a roof basket I made for the KJ that I kept and will be putting it on the XK. I think I'll have as much fun with this as I did the Libby. I'll work on a garage right now.
