I never thought of internal coil springs. And remove the external springs? Then put the shock oil back in to dampen the droop rate I presume.....

Ok i took franks advice and got some internal springs ($5 shipped... damn its so much cheaper mod'ing a 1:24 vehicle! lol) to run full droop. Definitely got the look i was going for!!!
I didnt get to test drive it because neither of my LiPo batteries would charge . Guess they're shot...
