Took pictures for someone on JF and figured I'd post the info here since its a common sensor to fail.
The Commander is in the dealership right now for that problem. Threw a P0014 and P0016. The dealership replaced the cam shaft position sensor now they say there are other things not working right and of course the part is back ordered until next week. Any idea what in the oil system has a screen on it (other than the filter) , apparently that is the part they are waiting for. It may have something to do with the oil monitoring system as my change oil indicator came on earlier than normal. The jeep ran beautifully across the country averaging 13-14 mpg while fully loaded and towing a trailer until the last 50km when it threw the codes after a quick rest. After the oil was changed at 0130 in a rest area parking lot with the addition of half a can of seafoam it ran sooo smooth for the rest of the trip (had everything on hand as the moving company wouldn't move my oil).
