I find it amusing that this is making its rounds on the internet. My dad sent the Email to me too.
We have one of those at work. 3D printing has actually been around for quite some time... but its getting better. We just got a 3D scanner too.
FYI, that wrench they "print" is no where as strong as the real thing. It's not nearly as strong as they make it seem.
I have actually used one of these paired with AutoCad programs at my highschool. It is very cool technology, if only I had one that could make XK parts.
