Looking to see if there is a way to check the fluid level of the transfer case. Does anyone know?

Pull the fill plug and the fluid should be with in 1/4" of the hole. I just stick my finger in there and check when I change the fluid I just fill it until it comes out.

If it's not leaking, there shouldn't be an issue with the level.
But basically all you need to do is take off the fill plug and stick something in there (like a twist tie) to see how far the level is below the fill hole... should be within 3/8" i believe.
1/4.. 3/8... potAto, potato
That was fast! Thanks a lot guys. Ill take a look at it
The drain plug is a 14 or 10 hex socket I think it is. Unless you had a reason to purchase one in the past you probably don't have one in your tool box. You can find them at autozone I know for sure there harder to find like a sears or lowes they usually don't carry sizes that big.
I replaced the fluid a few months ago, but I would like to check now that I have done some wheeling. I am very particular about keeping my maintenance up to date and keeping everything in correct working order. Hopefully it will save me some nightmares down the road.
cough* pics of wheeling *cough
