2007 Jeep Commander: QTII, Leather, Sunroof, remote start, OEM Skid Plates, 2 in Daystar lift, 255.75.17 BFG Mud Terrains on Moabs, 1.25 " Spidertrax wheel spacers, 4x Guard front guard and Side Guards, Optima Red Top, Robbys half inch leveling spacer, Bilstein 5150 Rear Shocks, Pinch weld mod and trimming!
Based on JBA pricing... probably $6k...
That's why im curious to see exactly what he's doing for the 6" lift. If he's just adding coilovers, control arms, shocks and a spacer or longer springs in the rear that could be accomplished today:
Superlift $2000
Custom length KING coilovers $1700
JBA UCAs $450
Rear shocks $150-$400 depending on basic shocks vs resi's
Rear spacer $150 (if you just buy an RC kit and use the rear spacer only)
TOTAL = ~$4700 if you go with resi shocks
Since JBA priced his coilovers at $2500 instead of the $1700 custom length KING's, that's another $800 easily right there putting. Plus he currently charges ~$270 per shock... so that's another $140 more based on his current pricing. So the total could easily be ~$5650 not including any other additions he puts into it.
At least someone else is making stuff for us! Expect prices to be outrageous until lifting XK's and WK's becomes popular enough to elicit suspension lifts from Rancho, Skyjacker, BDS (improved version, not cancelled version), etc.

I was quoted $6k for a SFA swap on a 8" lift so $4k sounds good to me.
Ues i plan on driving this everyday. I dont know who hrs getting to do the xk test. I also dont k ow gow much this will all cost. We were talking the other day about him making a steel front axle for me to test like he makes for the libs. So that opens up gears and front lockers for us

I got you I only get that one at the trail head then I crawl up something they can't or won't. I usually have there respect shortly after the first obstacle. And of course letting a V8 go wide open in 4LO bouncing up a rock face is cool no matter what suspension your running LMAO
that rep will always exist among chest pounding sfa owners... doesn't matter what we do to our rigs short of a sfa swap, they'll claim superiority.
And as my one buddy learned... a SFA jeep with big tires looks cool and all, but if you have two open diffs and no traction control, a 2" lifted XK with QDII and 30" tires will walk all over you offroad
