dropped it off at the dealer
Decided to take advantage of the certified preowned warranty with a $150 deductible instead of buying the shift motor. I hate hate hate having someone else work on my truck and i really hate service managers that try scamming you out of warranty work; so you can imagine im dreading the phone call tomorrow. Ever since i dropped it off i've been playing every scenario in my head for how they're going to try to screw me and give me a $1000 bill.
Just under 58,000 miles. I replaced the first set around 44k because of an annoying sound, no clunking at the time. This time around I'm replacing them because of the clunk that everyone seems to complain about. It literally sounds like the sway bar is bouncing off the floor board on EVERY bump/ imperfection in the road.

Test fitted the new rock sliders, came up with a mount modification that will give us another 1/2 inch of ground clearance.

Wash and wax, and I think tomorrow I'll be changing the transfer case fluid.
