Weighed my mountain bike today... 25.26 lbs!! Not bad for a medium sized 29er (Sal, anything under 25lbs is really really really good for a mtb. 27-29lb is common for quality bikes)
Also threw my wifes new bike on the scale... 31.28 lbs ... Going to have to cut some weight on that thing, ouch!

My bikes feel light I'll have to weight them and see now. I think one of the is a diamond back or something like that.
mine is 33LBS so I guess that's heavy then?
Diamondback? I'd guess 34-35lb
Edit: na, sounds about right for the bike

Mine should be around the 25lb mark as well, but I have no way of weighing it.

I just weigh my self then pick the bike up and do the math.
I used to do that too, but bathroom scales are usually only accurate to 1/2 lb. For example my bike weighed 25.5 using that method and so I wasn't sure if it was actually 25.6-25.7.
Now knowing that I'm 25.26, I can conceivably get to the 24.xx lb mark. (Its Just another hobby lol). Whereas if I was in the 25.6-25.7 lb range that's a lot harder to get below 25 ($$$$) and I wouldn't even think about it.
Dropped .88 lbs on my wifes bike last night when I installed her xmas gifts. We put on new grips, bottle cage, chainring, Inner/Outer bash rings and removed the front gears for a 1x9 setup.
She started at 31.28 lb and is now down to 30.40. We'll be dropping another ~1.5 lb when I install her new (used off ebay) marz 44 micro ti fork
