Sounds like a rod but its not RPM dependent right? Its to deep of a sound for a going lifter.. does it make the noise if you change gears?

I can't hear it when I'm on the gas and driving. As soon as I get off the gas it's there again, doesn't matter what speed I'm going at the time.
Sent video linkto my dad, he knows these Jeeps like the back of his hand.. Sounds dumb but check you cat to make sure its not that rattling around and sending noise through dp

Pick one of these up. It'll help you pinpoint where the noise is coming from:
Third video with some engine revving.. seems like it doesn't go away when you gas it, just speeds up and seems to get quieter..

I pulled spark plug wires 4/5/6 individually and the noise didn't change.
Is it more noticeable on the top of the engine?? Doesn't take long to pull that valve cover off and take a peak to see if its something obvious.
I wouldn't say it's more noticeable top or bottom, but for sure towards the back.
My dad said the he thinks its the flex plate, it cracks from the inside out youll have to pull the transmission and converter to do it.. 2-3 hrs to do but it will tell you for sure.. Since it didnt change with plugs out he knows for sure its mechanical on the outside. What happens is the crankshaft starts dancing inside when its got some miles on it and the converter wont move so the flex plate does exactly that, flexs. Id say its probably that..

I'm thinking along the lines of what Andrew said.
