don't rub in the diesel issue...we can't get any medium sized vehicle with diesel, except VW's
I got the 4.7, my unit is the one the owner of the dealership was driving. Dual power, heated seats, QTII, 4.7, 6 disc, full skids, class IV hitch etc.
My friend of 20 years is a fleet lease manager so I told him what I wanted, he walked into the owners office and took his keys and gave them to me

I looked for 2 years for Overland Edition Commander with low miles for a great price.
I am glad I waited & happy with it
Love the power & the drivetrain of the QDII with the hemi
Plus the Overland is nicely loaded so there is not much I needed to add except a lift & armor

I have the 3.7 with QDI, although a V8 with QDII would have been nice. I am quite happy with the offroad performance , I have gotten through some deep mud that even my friends 2009 Z71 4x4 silverado couldnt even drive halfway through. Also, when purchasing my car, it was either 4.7 2wd or 3.7 4wd, so I just had to go with the 4x4 lol.
4.7L V8, perfect for what i use it for
I have the Hemi and I love it. My first Commander had the 4.7L Flexfuel. I loved that when gas went to over $4 a gallon a few years back. When I used E85 my MPG went down about 20% over using 87 octane.

If I'd KNOWN I was gonna buy a Commander, I'd of studied more and got the Hemi...

Hemi, Got tired of that under powered 08 v6 Rubicon. With the intent of going to bigger tires I had to go with the Hemi.
