As much as I like the layout and idea of my XK, I pity whoever gets that damn thing next. Mine seems victim of typical Chrysler quality...built to self destruct right around 5 years old and/or 100,000 miles. It must have been built on a Friday afternoon. This is the first time I've ever felt relieved to get rid of a vehicle.
Anyways, here's the new truck.

no ecoboost?

Nope. Went with the 5.0L. I'm not sold on the ecoboost reliability once it gets on up in mileage. And I have second thoughts on the cost of repairing one with the twin turbos once it's no longer under warranty. That's a ton of power and stress to squeeze out of only a 3.5L motor. Many real world driving accounts scattered around F-150 forums really show a negligible difference in MPGs between the two. In my test drives (drove 4, 2013 EB and 5.0 and 2014 EB and 5.0) I couldn't really tell a significant difference enough to justify the cost and, to me, the risk. Lastly, it sounds like a f'in mini van. Can't drive a truck that sounds that bad.

I think you made the right choice, regardless I could never drive a V6 gas truck. V8 or diesel
