Yeah I mean I dont notice anything different. He cleared the codes a few days ago but it came back so I figure it has to he an evap leak. With work I cant get my buddy to find the leak until next week.

My 2010 Owner's Manual says to change the spark plugs at 30k so I will order them as well. It also says to check Trans/Diff fluids and Oil Filter.

My buddy thinks it is a small evap or gas leak from the line leading to the engine. He 'smoked' it or whatever to find it. Do you guys think this will be covered under the 36k mile warranty? I am only at 33k. I am afraid it won't with everything I've done to the XK? Thoughts?
He will fix it but rather me get it fixed for free....

Where exactly does he think the leak is? Towards the engine bay?
The dealer "should" fix it under warranty if that's something covered under the warranty. Lifting your XK and putting on bigger tires was not the cause of the issue your currently having. However if you take it in I'm sure they will want to take care of the recall which will result in you losing 4 low

Well last time I took it in they didnt do the recall nor did I mention it. Matt, im not exactlty sure where he thought it was but I can ask. He cleared codes again so ill wait for the check engine to come back on and maybe have my dealer just let me know ......

If the evap leak is up near the engine compartment, it should be covered under warranty. If it's on the gas tank it may be worth trying, but the pink paint and purple hearts may make them ask questions..... lol in that case you can get a new line and we'll toss the lines on one day here.
Okay lol ill see what happens. I may have to jack it up and paint those skids.
